We are finally at our last day of the trip which is a free day! With the free time, I decided to go to Austria with the others on the trip. We took the train making our travel time just under 3 hours to get there. Once getting to Austria, the big group split into smaller groups to explore the city. We started out by going to lunch with a view of a castle. Afterwards we made our way up the hill to explore around the castle. The view from above was unmatched!

Once we made our way through the castle and out the other side, we were able to see the Alps! During this time we took lots of pictures together to commemorate our amazing view with great friends. Additionally, we explored a puppet museum which was interesting to say the least.

After heading back down from the castle, we went through the tourist shops to find any souvenirs. Continuing on exploring Austria I ended up in one of the filming locations for The Sound of Music! It was really cool to see where it was filmed in person. At this point it was pouring rain, suddenly the sun came out leaving a view of the alps with a rainbow above them! We ended our day in Austria at a nice restaurant! We made our way back to the train station to head back to Augsburg. It was such a great day!
