Augsburg Day 14 – Pittsburgh Blues

After magically shoving all of my souvenirs into my suitcase that was overweight to begin with, I was off to the Munich airport. The security’s level of urgency was one I have never witnessed before. A very memorable experience. As our flight was taking off I felt very sad to leave my little Germany life behind me, but thankful nonetheless.

Picking highlights from this trip is hard for me because I felt every moment was special in its own way. If I had to pick a few I would say visiting the Neuschwanstein Castle, touting Dachau and getting to know the German students.

I walked into this trip hoping to gain new perspectives in life as well as learning about myself. Not only did I accomplish just that, but I also feel so much richer within my experiences as a college student. Studying abroad is such a privilege to have here at Pitt and I am so glad I got the opportunity to participate. I can’t wait to continue to share all I have learned over the last two weeks not only about Germany but about the experience as a whole. I will forever be an advocate for others to study abroad as it has evolved me as a person in many ways.
