Today was the big final presentation day! My team presented, and it was interesting to hear all the other groups present as well. Afterward, we grabbed food at the cafeteria. I learned that the University of Augsburg has a “vegan day” on Wednesdays, where they only supply vegan food. I talked to some students about it, and opinions were mixed. While they appreciated the variety of vegan options on that day, some felt that the rest of the week didn’t offer enough choices for vegans.

After the presentations, I headed back to our rooms and rested for a couple of hours. Later, I met up with a few Pitt and German students to go bowling. I got second to last, which was a miracle considering I had three gutter balls (but also three strikes, yay!). After that, we headed to Ratskeller for the final dinner with the entire German and Pitt student group. It was a really bittersweet moment, and really marked the end of an amazing experience with the German students.
