Hello! My name is Aaron DeNardo and I’m a freshman in the business school at the University of Pittsburgh. I will be studying abroad in South Korea as a part of the Plus3 Program offered at Pitt. I am a person who loves taking advantage of every opportunity that I am provided to develop myself both personally and professionally. The Plus3 program was an opportunity I knew was for me. I am passionate about traveling and learning about new cultures. Asia is a continent that I have yet to explore, so this trip to South Korea will be my first, but definitely not last, time there.

Personally, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and trying new restaurants. I have such a big love for food and Pittsburgh that I have a whole Instagram account dedicated to my eating and lifestyle (@pittsburghfooddude). Professionally, I am a part of Delta Sigma Pi, a professional business fraternity, at Pitt. I currently am the Vice President of Professional Events, and I plan to continue expanding my network while studying abroad in Korea.

I have chosen to study abroad in Korea because of the interesting culture and the great opportunities that this trip provides. I hope to gain a greater understanding of South Korea’s culture and traditions, while developing my professional skills and expanding my network.
