Hey everyone! I am Marshall Dawson, I am a sophomore at Pitt studying supply chain management and accounting. I also do ROTC here at Pitt and am in the Pennsylvania National Guard. After graduation I hope to stay in the area, work in supply chain and do Logistics for the guard as well. I am originally from thirty minutes east of State College and plan to live at home over the summer to work part time. I am also in Phi Chi Theta- a business fraternity here at Pitt, and will be an Oakland Zoo Leader next year. I like to play board games, watch sports, and hangout with my friends and family in my spare time.

I am really excited to go to Germany this May for Plus 3. I was jealous of my friends last year who did Plus 3 as freshman, so this experience will be really special. The course offers an insight into the manufacturing industry, specifically automotive, which Germany is famous for and will have a lot to offer. I am ready to throw myself into the whole experience while learning as much as possible. I also hope to see the supply chain aspects of the automotive industry.

Overall, I am really excited for this experience and ready to learn anything about logistics and supply chain relating to the automotive or manufacturing industries. I love traveling and seeing new places as well as meeting new people. I hope I can delve into the German / Bavarian culture as much as possible and can’t wait until May!
