My name is Max Fuld! I am a business finance student at Pitt and a rising senior. I love travel, and cannot wait to arrive in Germany with the rest of my Plus3 group this summer. Some of my hobbies include kite flying, drawing, cycling, playing guitar, playing & watching basketball, playing rugby, and reading. I’m from Washington, DC, a big Wizards fan, and love visiting home to see the Smithsonian Museums and Cherry Blossoms. My favorite movie is Moonrise Kingdom and my favorite band is Arctic Monkeys.

I am taking a variety of business courses here at Pitt, and some of my favorite subjects have been marketing, macroeconomics, and programming. I am hoping to go into either finance or consulting for my career, and have ambitions of working at a big 4 consulting firm. I am fascinated by economics, and am a total nerd on a variety of topics (talk to me about star trek). Cars are another fascination of mine, and i love weird and peculiar car designs especially.

I chose Germany for my study abroad trip because I am interested in cars and the auto industry as well as the culture of Germany. As a Jew, I would also like to visit and pay my respects at some of the sites of the holocaust. I think this trip will not only be a fun and memorable experience on a personal level, but will also improve my business skills and will hopefully create long lasting connections that i will carry with me to my future career.
