Hello! My name is Christian Walker and I was born in Clearwater, FL . I only lived in Florida for around a year and then I moved to West Chester, PA. I have a brother who has just graduated from Penn State and two dogs, a Husky and a German Shepherd. Some of my hobbies include watching and playing sports, working out and hanging out with friends.

I am in the School of Business Administration, and I Intend to major in Finance and minor in Economics. Sometime in the future, I also plan to study abroad again for the invaluable life experiences that I can get from these kind of opportunities. So far, the business school has given me countless professional tips and advice that will help me with my career in the future.

This summer, I have the amazing opportunity to travel to Ecuador with 15 other business students. On this trip, we will learn about both the flower and chocolate industry and just how essential they are to the Ecuador economy. I chose this program because both the flower and chocolate industries have always intrigued me and I was interested to see how these products are grown and processed.

During this trip, I am personally looking to explore a completely new country and immerse myself within a completely different culture. I have always wanted to travel abroad and this opportunity will help me achieve this. I am also looking forward to gaining insights into how the flower and chocolate industries work and how they process and export these goods to their trade partners. This opportunity will also allow me to operate outside my comfort zone and interact with professionals working in their field. I can’t wait to explore Ecuador and make lifelong connections!
