Hello, I’m Sam Ferguson. I’m from Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, and I just finished my freshman year at the University of Pittsburgh College of Business Administration. I plan to major in Finance and Accounting with a minor in Economics. At Pitt, I’m involved in the professional business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi, and serve as a junior analyst in Panther Equity. Outside of school, I’m a huge Philadelphia sports fan, love to play baseball and basketball, and enjoy lifting. I’m looking forward to visiting Argentina for the first time and the incredible experience that awaits.
Through the Plus3 Argentina program, I’m excited to take a closer look at how healthcare systems function on an international level, particularly in a country with such a unique economic and political landscape. The program offers a great opportunity to blend business education with global exposure.
This will be my first time in South America, and I’m looking forward to stepping out of my comfort zone, immersing myself in a new culture, and building a broader perspective on global business practices. I’m also excited to develop new relationships with classmates and professionals, try Argentinian food, and take in the city of Buenos Aires. I see this experience as a chance to grow academically, professionally, and personally, and I’m grateful to be a part of it.
