Today, we spent most of our time at the Bilbao School of Engineering. We got to learn about some of the school’s history and what it is like to be a student there. We learned about their Guitar STREAM club where they build electric guitars out of recycled materials. It was very interesting to heard about since in my senior year of high school, I was able to build my own electric guitar from scratch. We also learned about their Formula Student project where they are building their own F1 car that they will race. Overall, it was very interesting to learn about the different projects they have going on in the school of engineering along with the similarities and differences to college in the United States.

After finishing up at the BSE, we went on a walking tour of old town also know as seven streets. It is very beautiful part of Bilbao that has a lot of history surrounding it. I loved how all the buildings looked together and it really had a special feeling to it. We also went out to dinner as a group which was so much fun. The table was very lively and everyone was talking and having a good time. It was nice to be able to talk with everyone and get to know them all better. I really think it helped to make us a more tight knit group.
