Today was a nice change of pace from the past couple of days. We had a late dinner last night and it was also my birthday so I didn’t get as much sleep as I wanted. This morning we had breakfast at the hotel again which I really enjoyed. We then went to the Bilbao School of Engineering for two presentations. The first presentation was given to us by Basque Professor, Saioa. She spoke about a project they have been working on for 7 years about the balance distribution of stroke patients. We then got a presentation from Dr. Borovetz who talked about a device that assisted the heart in its regular function. I thought both of these were very interesting and I enjoyed seeing how nursing and engineering can really go hand in hand.

After the presentations we went to lunch at the school for about an hour and a half before going to the Guggenheim Museum. We took a small scenic walk before going to the museum. On the walk we actually saw peacock which I thought was interesting. Once we got the museum we went off in our own groups to explore. The museum was full of abstract art and interactive experiences. After a small nap we went to dinner. After going to dinner with two friends we got some chocolate gelato and went back to the hotel.
