Day 4: H and H

Today was seriously one of the coolest days I’ve had in Korea. We visited the Hyundai Asan plant and got to see how their cars are made—it was insane. I had no idea it only takes 53 seconds to make one car! The production lines were so fast and precise, it felt like watching a real-life robot dance. We couldn’t take photos inside, but we snapped some pics before the tour started. The best part? My friends and I got to test out the Ioniq 9, and it was so nice—super spacious. After that, we stopped at a rest area where I tried these gummy grape candies… not my fave, but the experience was fun!

Lunch was right by the Han River, and it felt like a little picnic moment—until the umbrella we were sitting under literally fell on us mid-meal (don’t worry, we’re fine—just a lot of laughing). We had yummy bento boxes and just chilled for a bit. Then we had some free time, so we wandered around, grabbed some ice cream, and just enjoyed the nice weather. Later, we went on a Han River cruise, which was honestly such a vibe. A bunch of us bought bags of little fish to feed the seagulls. I was lowkey scared to try at first, but I finally did it and got a seagull to snatch one mid-air!

To end the day, a few of us went to Seoul Tower for dinner—and wow. The view was unreal. We were so high up it felt like we were floating above the city. The dinner itself was amazing, but what really made it special was sharing it with friends after such a fun, packed day. From car factories to seagull feeding to laughing under falling umbrellas, it’s a day I’ll never forget.
