We had an early morning today in Korea since we were going all the way to the Hyundai Asan Plant first thing in the morning. This plant is where they conduct the assembly and production of their newest cars. During our tour we got to see each specific part of the process. One thing I found very interesting was that almost every job was done by robots. It was only till we got to the very end where final touches were being made that humans got involved. This automation is how they are able to produce so many cars a day. Another part of the process that I was impressed by was how little mistakes they have throughout the process. I would think that all these moving parts would yield a high chance for error but every car that I saw being made had no errors to them.

After this tour we headed to the Han river. The Han river is the main river that passes all the way through Seoul. It was a beautiful day out and while we were waiting for our boat tour we hung out around the park near the river playing hacky sack. It was awesome seeing the people in Seoul enjoy the nice weather right near us. The cruise itself was breathtaking. We saw amazing views of the sky lines and got to feed the birds! Later in the day we went to the Coex mall. This is one of the biggest malls in the city and it is very close to our Hotel. We walked round here for a while and got some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. Right outside of the Coex mall is a Buddhist temple which we explored. The views and statues in this temple were so cool and definitely a highlight of the night. After enjoying the views of the rooftop of our hotel I went to bed. Thanks for reading and I am looking forward to tomorrow!
