This morning, we went back to the Bilbao School of Engineering. First, we listened to a presentation about a project that the school had been working on. It was about measuring someone’s balance, and the school was hoping that it could not only help patients who have had a stroke but that it could be used for many other purposes. After that, Dr. Borovetz spoke about the University of Pittsburgh and a project used in heart transplants that our school had been working on. Although the product is not patented, I thought it was really cool to learn about research that we were doing, and I was surprised to see that Dr. Borovetz made it in the New York Times.
After the presentations and lunch at the school, we went on a scenic walk to the Guggenheim Museum. There were so many water fountains and flowers, and we even saw a Peacock. I loved getting to see the city more, and this was the first time I had seen this much grass and greenery in the city. My favorite exhibit in the museum was this room with a ton of colorful lights in it, but I also really enjoyed a room filled with screens that displayed moving pictures.

We plan to go to the Old Town tonight to explore some more and eat some pinxtos, and I haven’t tried any yet, so I’m excited for that.
