Yonsei in the Rain

Today we spent our day at Yonsei university which was so cool to see and compare with Pitt’s life and campus! We started with a trip to their cafeteria for lunch which was really good. I had the hot chicken soup and some kimchi which was delicious. Our tour guide told us that they have more floors to their cafeteria that are even better too. We then started our walking tour when it began down pouring again, but we persevered. The tour was so cool and we saw the founder’s statue, the business school, and the global student center. Our tour guide also told us that they have a second campus, called the international campus, that is near Incheon airport. This campus has all of the freshmen and they take a bus to the main campus if needed. We then went to the university’s store where I got some fun souvenirs before heading to a tour of a lab in the engineering building that focuses on research of the brain and Alzheimer’s disease. It was interesting to go in and look at the lab and talk with the student researchers. After we concluded at the university we headed back to the hotel in the pouring rain. Along with the rain it was also rush hour, so the public transportation was so full. We ended up making it back to the hotel and took some hot showers to counteract the cold rain.
