Today was also a relaxing day. We met at 10:30 in the lobby of our hotel. Since it is a weekend there was no breakfast in our hotel, this may seem like a conflict but it gave us a chance to try traditional breakfast in Bilbao. After breakfast we walked to the theater we previously watched the opera in. While we were there we went on a tour where we heard stories about the history of the building and go to see parts of it that the general public doesn’t. I thought it was so interesting to hear about the history and see different parts that I didn’t get to see when we went for the opera.

After our tour we had the rest of the day to ourselves. We hadn’t had much time yet to go on our own and explore the city so I was very excited for this. A few friends and I decided to walk and get lunch. After lunch we decoded to split off and do some shopping. We each shopped for a few hours until we decided to meet up again for dinner. I had so much fun today and am so grateful to have been able to spend the day exploring the city more.
