Day 2 began with us attending a Lecture at the “Uni”, or University of Augsburg from a remote speaker on the auto industry in europe which was interesting, followed by working in our groups on a presentation for our assigned company. For my group, it was Continental. Working on the presentation was cool, and it was nice to meet the group, although one of our german members was missing. I found a bunch of cool old continental ads and added them to the presentation. Then, a tour of Augsburg took place which was super nice, hosted by 3 german grad students, who were friendly as hell and very welcoming. We got lunch in the Uni Mensa (mess hall), which was super cool as well. We visited the cathedral again and i took a punch of pictures of all the amazing art on the walls. The University of Augsburg was cool too, and we went out for drinks in the evening to a bar called Murphy’s law which was sweet.
