We were given a lot of rest today as we got to leave the hotel around 12 PM. This was really nice because it allowed everyone to catch up on some sleep, which was needed. We visited the Namsan Tower, also known as the North Seoul Tower. Namsan is the name of the mountain on which it is located, meaning North Mountain in English. This tower is located in the northern part of Seoul. It is on the top of the mountain and provides a great view of Seoul, both north and south. I didn’t get to go up to the observatory deck, but it still provided a great view overlooking the city on the base level of the tower.

After visiting Namsan Tower, we left for a cooking class downtown. The class was taught by a woman who has designed food for several TV shows, including Squid Game. She taught us how to make bibimbap. It is a mix of vegetables, eggs, and beef, all over rice. Which is then mixed together. It is actually excellent and simple to make. I am interested in making it when I get home. After the cooking class, we returned to the hotel and rested for the night. Some of us hung out in another person’s room, but after that, we all went to bed.
