Today started off pretty similar to most of the days we have had in Bilbao, we got up and ate our breakfast before meeting in the lobby to start our day. After breakfast we went to the Bilbao school of engineering for more tour of the labs the school has. Today we got to hear about more projects they are doing to improve the efficiency of everyday machines mainly revolving around a patients center of gravity. It was interesting to see how they have expanded their research into a machine with two platforms to try and find a persons center of gravity while they are walking. Everyday I go to these labs I continue to be impressed about how nursing and engineering are so closely interlinked.

After lunch at the school we started making our way to the hanging bridge. I have been really excited to walk across this bridge for most of the week because it really isn’t like anything I have ever imagined. I found it so fascinating how the bridge was able to transport not only people but cars, bikes and other vehicles across the water in a timely manner. I have loved exploring Bilbao and I can’t wait to go to Gernika.
