We had a super early morning today as we had to check out of our hotel, but I was still able to eat the hotel breakfast before leaving to go to Tekniker. When we first arrived there, there were mountains in the distance and it was a nice change of scenery. At Tekniker, we listened to an overview presentation about them, and then we got some tours of their labs and their projects. Dr. Borovetz also gave a small presentation about the University of Pittsburgh and the research opportunities that we have. We then bused to Gernika, and we checked into our second hotel. 

After checking in, I went and grabbed lunch where I had a burger and some fried calamari. I took a short nap before we went to visit Casa de Junta de Gernika. I really enjoyed all of the paintings and detail in the buildings. I also thought the trees with historical significance were cool. I think my favorite part though was this room with a stained glass ceiling. There was just so much to look at.
