After a great day yesterday, we decided to visit the Buddhist temple. When we walked in, the temple was very big and spacious. After visiting, I came to learn a lot about their culture, and I think the philosophy of Buddhism is truly meaningful. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve learned bits and pieces about this religion from my mom. It’s a beautiful site, and the architecture is even more impressive.

Later, we visited the War Museum and the Cu Chi Tunnels. This was an amazing and eye-opening experience for all of us. The information presented in the War Museum was shocking and heartbreaking, but it was an experience I’ll never forget. Many of the exhibits showed how people died or were tortured during the war. I had never learned about Agent Orange until now,it was a toxic chemical released during the war that killed many and still affects the people of Vietnam today due to its long-lasting side effects.

Before going to the museum, we toured the Cu Chi Tunnels. Looking back, it was a really unique experience to walk through the same tunnels that soldiers once used. It’s hard to imagine how they managed it back then because walking through the tunnels was tough. Still, it was incredible to see the design and think about who came up with the idea to build tunnels for war. I’ll always remember this part of the trip and how the war impacted so many lives and shaped the history of the country.
