Tekniker

Today our day began with a bus ride to Tekniker. The ride there was beautiful and we got to see more of the countryside/mountains that Spain is so famous for. The view once we got to the building was incredible.

I found the company itself to be very interesting. They are incredibly collaborative. Their offices, which were more like one big open space of desks and computers, promote the importance of teamwork and communication. I appreciated that he highlighted the importance of nurses’ input on the devices they’re created.

Afterwards, we arrived in Gernika. We basically take up our entire hotel, which I like because it kind of feels like we’re back at school in one dorm. The town is smaller than Bilbao but has a lot still in walking distance. We did a tour of Casa de Junta de Gernika. The stain glass was my favorite part and was so intricate and beautiful.
