Today was the day we all had to pack up and leave Bilbao! I think we were all pretty sad doing so, because of how much we loved our hotel and the location. However it’s exciting to have the opportunity to see other places ! We packed up the bus and made our way to Tekinker to tour their labs. We got to hear about their exchange students projects. It was really cool to see what they were working on to improve the healthcare of patients at the Hospital Gorliz. Especially because we were able to tour that hospital!

After our tour we were able to head to Gernika to check into our hotel! After unpacking we e were able to grab a quick lunch at a place right by the hotel. I tried the Rabas which were so good, I couldn’t believe I went the whole trip so far without having some. Then we went back to our rooms to take quick siestas before heading on our next activity!

After sleeping for a bit we headed over to Casa de Junta de Gernika. It was so beautiful inside! We were able to tour it and look around outside. Afterwards we got ready to go out and get some food. Mostly around the hotel are all places that have Pintxos. So a few of us got pinxtos for dinner. We then found an icecream place and everyone met up and all got icecream together! It was fun that everyone was there. It’s going to be so sad to have to leave in a few days.
