Day 11: Time Together

Today, we were back at the Bilbao School of Engineering where we had a few presentations. The first one was about what it is like to design a medical device. We talked about how, for medicine, one of the most important questions is who is going to use your product/invention. Often times too when creating something new the first prototype will having something wrong with it and you have to go back to the drawing board. The second presentation was about the creation of a more personalized ventilator that could eventually be used at home by the patient.

After the presentations, we had our last lunch at the school and had our first of many good byes. We talked about the pros and cons of the trip, what we liked and what could be changed. Then, we played a final kahoot. It was a really nice way to end off. Next, we went back to Gernika for some free time before dinner. Dinner was at a pizza place and it was very nice to have everyone at the same table. I am really going to miss this group and I am so happy to have spent all this time together with them.
