Day 6: Breathtaking Views & More MAN

Today honestly felt like something out of a movie. As we arrived in Füssen, the scenery already felt different — crisp mountain air, a glassy lake, and the kind of quiet that makes you want to just stop and take it all in. With the Alps in the background, I remember thinking the air felt cleaner, like you could just breathe easier there.

Our walk up to Neuschwanstein Castle was smooth, and once we got there, it really hit me how unique this place was. The view from the bridge across from the castle was unreal — the kind of view that doesn’t even seem real in photos, let alone when you’re standing there. The castle itself was incredible, but what really stuck with me was its story. King Ludwig II had a vision that didn’t quite fit the mold of his time — more of a dreamer than a ruler — and the fact that he poured so much into building something so artistic and detailed made the whole place feel even more fascinating.

Later in the day, we had a chance to hear from someone at MAN, the company we visited earlier in the week. I really enjoyed this part — as someone who’s into tech and data, it was cool to see how MAN is adapting and shifting its focus to electric vehicles. It reminded me that even huge, traditional companies are having to evolve with the times, and I’m excited to see where that goes in the future.

All in all, today had a bit of everything — amazing views, a deep dive into history, and a look at the future of technology. Definitely one of the highlights so far.
