Today we woke up and left for the Florence Nightingale museum. We walked around at our own pace and saw the woman we learned so much about in Intro to Professional Nursing. I liked how interactive it was; it had many toys, stories that spoke to you, and hidden peepholes. Florence was a significant influence for healthcare during the Crimean War.

Next, we went on our own around London. Our first stop was to a small coffee shop, but I didn’t get anything. Then, we went to the London Eye Ferris Wheel. It was going to be another thing to complete, but it was way too expensive. After leaving, we crossed the Westminster Bridge to see Big Ben. I don’t know why but I thought it would be bigger.

We stopped at Westminster Abbey next which was really interesting to see the architecture. We then walked through a park nearby the Buckingham Palace. There were a lot of ducks and I even had some pigeons land on my hand.

After eating lunch, we decided to go on a boat tour and rest from all the walking. We went on the boat and passed out. We slept for a majority of our day. Around 7 PM, it was time to meet up with the whole group to watch Mama Mia.
