After being home a few days I already miss Germany. The trip was simply amazing and I am going to forever miss the people I met, the places I saw, and the experience as a whole. After traveling to new countries I think it really resonates within you that everyone should leave there home country at some point and physically see how other people live, even if it is another wealthy nation the differences can still be very eye opening. It was really interesting to see the different companies we saw and what manufacturing plants look like as it is not something that is as common here in the U.S. anymore. The efficiency they had and ability to produce products at such a large scale was really fascinating and really displayed how much goes into our global supply chains. My favorite parts of the trip though was definitely the people I met. Our group got along really well and I would have not had such a good time if I had no one to share it with. I truly think that I have made some life long friends and the memories will last my entire life!
