Day 10 – GROB

Today was our final company visit, and the most important to me, as I am assigned to GROB for our company analysis. Dr. Feick touched on how culturally GROB is different from the other companies we have seen, but this didn’t hit me fully until we were inside their complex. You could tell right away that every single employee took immense pride in their work and the daily activities of their company. There was this quiet confidence in how they talked about what they do, not flashy or over-the-top, just a deep belief in the quality of their work and the importance of precision. Walking through their facility, it was clear how much attention they pay to detail and how tightly run everything is.

For me, seeing it all in person brought our analysis to life in a whole new way. It’s one thing to read about a company, research its structure, and look at financials, but standing inside GROB, seeing the machines in action and the people behind them, gave it all real meaning.

Finally, the presentations provided by GROB gave me so much insight into the company holistically. They really wanted us to know exactly how they operate, which was perfect for me given it was my company!
