Today was our last day in Germany. It is so sad to think that we have to leave tomorrow. Today we were given a free day to do whatever we wanted to do. Our plan got a little messed up. We originally planned to go to Salzburg, Austria. We got on the train to Munich and realized that I forgot my passport. Unfortunately, I needed that to cross the border back into Germany, so I decided not to go. Since we were already in Munich, we decided to stay there for a little bit and hang out. We started the day by walking through markets, which were very cute and interesting. We stopped by a bakery for breakfast, where we got a little pastry. Then, we shopped around for some souvenirs, where I got a couple of nice things. Then, we got lunch at the markets we were at earlier. It was very good. It started to rain so we decided it was time to go back to Augsburg. Once we got back, I took a small nap and started to pack. We got some gelato and then went to dinner. We went to an Italian restaurant which was really good. I think it was the best meal I had on the whole trip. After dinner, we relaxed, packed, and prepared for a long travel day. It is so bittersweet that this was our last day in Germany. I enjoyed my time so much and am so happy I got to experience this. This was the perfect last day to such a great trip!
