Hello! I’m Chloe Ameri, a junior at the University of Pittsburgh College of Business Administration, studying Finance and Marketing with a minor in Law. I’m an outgoing person who loves trying new things and staying involved. At Pitt, I’m active in my professional business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi, where I served as Senior Vice President this past semester, and I also work as a BUS 010 Teaching Assistant and a Pitt Business Ambassador. Outside the classroom, you can usually find me outdoors, biking, hiking, or going on a coffee walk with friends. I grew up playing sports, especially soccer, which I still play through intramurals. I’m also a huge foodie. I love cooking, baking, and exploring Pittsburgh’s restaurant scene through my own personal “food tour.”
Coming into college, I was fortunate to have some early travel experiences that taught me independence, organization, and a deep curiosity about other cultures. I definitely caught the travel bug young, and I knew I wanted to participate in a global experience program during my time at Pitt. I chose the Plus3 Germany program because it fits perfectly with my academic goals and my interest in product development and management. I’m especially excited for the professional experiences — seeing firsthand how automobiles are produced and manufactured, learning about German production processes, and hearing from industry professionals about the country’s economy and approach to innovation.
As a team‑driven and collaborative person, I’m also really looking forward to working with students from the University of Augsburg. I can’t wait to learn what life is like as a German college student, make new friends, and strengthen my teamwork and communication skills in a setting that few people get to experience.
I know this will be a trip of a lifetime. The skills, memories, and experiences ahead of me are unlike anything I’ve ever imagined, and I can’t wait for May!
