My name is Caden McRoberts and I am from Suwanee, Georgia. I’m a huge sports fan and especially enjoy playing soccer and supporting the Packers and Cubs. I have spent my first year on campus exploring different career paths and have discovered a strong interest in the accounting and finance fields. I have experience travelling abroad and in groups including service trips to Guatemala, Greece, and Mexico. However, I have never been to Asia so I am super excited to go to Vietnam to have the opportunity to study abroad with other members of the School of Business.

By participating in the Plus3 program in Vietnam I will be able to learn more about sustainable development and have unique experiences that will teach me more about myself as both a person and a professional. I am excited to get immersed in the local culture and learn more about the history and development of Vietnam. I believe this program will help advance my career goals by giving me the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the world of development and international business while operating in a new environment. I also believe that participating in this program will help me improve my problem-solving skills as I will be forced into unfamiliar environments and situations that will help me learn to persevere and grow.
