First Day In Seoul :)

When we first got to the hotel me and Gabby watched Cartoon Network on the TV which was interesting because it was American cartoons in Korean. We left for breakfast at 7:30 and I had eggs and french toast. The espresso machine was also really cool so I had a few coffees from there too. Later, we went back up for more coffees and talked with our friends on the roof top. After this we decided to get some snacks at the convenient store right next to our hotel.

Our day began with a trip to the Palace. Esther, our tour guide, told us a lot of interesting facts. While at the palace we also saw the guard changing ceremony. After the palace we walked around Seoul and along the river. We then went to get food and walk around this market-type place for lunch. I ended up getting pork mandu which were really good. After, I went to 7/11 with my friend Jacqueline and Anshi to get drinks and ice cream. I got this really good mango ice cream that I have been wanting to try.

After this we went to a Hanok village where we had to be quiet. I went and got a perfume at this store which smelt amazing. It was different because they stamped your name on it. After, I went down the hill from the Hanok village and bought face sunscreen. I also looked around in the shops at all of the fun toys with my friends.

After the Hanok village we went to a different market where a bunch of people ate live octopus. I was not brave enough to try that though. I went with my friends Noah and Anshi to get Tanghulu. I always saw Tanghulu in the malls back home, but I never tried it before. After we got Tanghulu we got an Uber to Stussy. We waited 35 minutes, but it closed before we reached the front of the line. We accepted defeat and took an Uber back to the hotel.

I wanted to hangout with my friends in the hotel, but I was so tired after all of the walking that I fell asleep instantly. Anyways, I am looking forward to sight seeing today!
