We started today with a early morning as we were going to go on our first company visit. I woke up early organized my clothes and got some breakfast before heading down to the lobby. After getting down to the lobby he made our way on the subway to take our tour of City Hall. Our tour guide was so funny and made the experience a lot of fun by letting us get a look into the mayor’s room and making us go up in front of each other to make speeches.

During this tour I noticed a little character continuously popping up. What our tour guide explained as the mascot of Seoul, also known as Hechi. Ever since arriving is South Korea Hechis cute design made me want to get a little plushy of him to take home but to my surprise the gift shop had much more than a plushie. I got myself a little keychain as well as a hooded blanket and collectable. I didn’t get a plushie here though because I want the plushie to be big enough to be hugged.

After getting a sufficient amount of Hechi merch we headed towards the water treatment plant. It was super interesting. I had no idea about the dedication this plant had towards the treatment of the water and didn’t know the number of steps taken to ensure that it was safe to drink. The tour showed me some of the advancements that areas in Kores have over the United States as well.
We finally finished our night with some Korean barbeque which was so delicious it made me want to sleep right away. Overall, it was an amazing day, and I progressed in terms of my Hechi merch!
