After making our way through Athens using the metro the group had a lecture at UNIC learning about peptides. This was by far my favorite lecture of the trip, I was truly intrigued by the endless amount of uses and applications. One part I liked was that certain peptides can be used for antibacterial applications in operating rooms. Next we took a trip to the museum and learned about Greek history up until WW2. My favorite part by far was the living room that showed what a nobleman might have lived like. Lastly, we went to Mt. Lycabettus, the highest point in Athens, and took some photos while also walking past the prime ministers house.
