Fifth Day in Seoul

On my fifth day in Seoul I woke up early to shower and write my blog post from the day before. This was the day I was looking forward to the most because I had seen the Korean baseball on TikTok before.

After we got off the bus we went to go look around the entrance area to the DMZ which had a lot of food places, and some rides. I went to Dunkin and got a lime apple refresher. Dunkin refreshers are my favorite and I always get them back home so it was cool to try another flavor. I also got a breakfast burrito there but I did not like it as much. Later, I met up with some friends at a different food place and got watermelon juice. I had watermelon juice in Cancun so I was excited to see it here.

After getting food we went to the tunnel. The air was thin and I am a bit claustrophobic, but it was fine. There was a lot of water on the ground though. It was cool to see the end of the tunnel. It is also fascinating that those tunnels had been built to invade South Korea, but luckily were discovered. After the tunnels we went to watch a documentary which talked about the tunnel system. They said that there could be more undiscovered tunnels which is crazy to me.

In the DMZ we also went to the lookout which allowed us to actually see into North Korea. I was able to see people working on the farms and look at the cities and towns. I am grateful that it was clear enough to see because it is such a unique experience. After that we went to watch people talk about the DMZ.

We left the lookout to go back to the food area, and got ice cream. After this we took a bus ride to see a Korean baseball game. I loved the baseball game a lot and had so much fun doing all of the dances. I am usually really bored at baseball games, but this one was different.
