In my opinion, every activity we have done in Greece so far has been incredible enough to grant it a favorite designation. However, since I need to pick only one for this blog, I choose the viewpoint from the top of Mount Lycabettus. This is the highest location we have traveled to, and it was by far the best view I have ever had. At the top of the mountain, you could see practically all of Athens, with mountains and ocean surrounding the city. I appreciated the company visits, the Acropolis, the museums, the walking tours, and the ancient architecture, but the views from the peak were top-notch. I could have stayed there all day, but unfortunately, the group had to leave for our next activity. Another reason why Mount Lycabettus was my favorite activity was the walking. From the top of the mountain, we walked all the way back to our hotel (a little over a mile), which was great exercise. Walking around Athens is a spectacular activity, and the Mount Lycabettus activity provided the perfect combination of views and movement. I cannot wait to unlock more favorite activities during the rest of the trip!
