Day 6 was spent exploring the beautiful coastal towns of San Sebastian and Zumaia after sleeping in a bit later. The weather was absolutely perfect out: so sunny and warm! After about an hour bus ride, we started the day in San Sebastian where we visited Monte Igueldo and got incredible views overlooking the ocean and the city below. The girls got lots of cute pictures in our gorgeous dresses! We then did a little walking through the city with our tour guide Mangel, saw a stunning cathedral (and ongoing service), walked the boardwalk and watched people make art in the sand, ate some pintxos for lunch, and got some souvenirs as well! Later, we traveled to our next location, Zumaia, where we learned about and saw the incredible Flysch rock formations on the coast. The scenery was amazing with blue water and huge cliffs. We also went near the water, but it was freezing cold so we did not go in very far. Before leaving, we all got some ice cream and sat and talked for a bit by the beach. Just our luck that only after we were all safely on the bus did it start to rain. For dinner, we all got Mexican food once we were back in Bilbao. I had a yummy chicken quesadilla which was the perfect end to a perfect day.
