For our last day in Greece we took a trip to AlphaOmega to see their warehouse facility and learn about their logistics company. While walking through the warehouse it looked like a well orchestrated symphony between each of the employees. As you went from room to room it was near silent as they all worked simultaneously to go through all of their orders. It was also impressive because of how much extra work goes into moving and delivering pharmaceuticals unlike with food and other goods. I think the degree of organization in the warehouse is unique compared to other companies I have seen. Even their doors are separated based on inbound and outbound. Another impressive thing was that they made sure to scan each package to verify that it was where it is supposed to be ensuring that no package is lost. Overall, it was very cool to see the amount of sophistication put in to ensure temps, regulations, and accountability.
