This was our first sight of the day: the Kutubiyya Mosque. It resembles other mosques I have seen in Morocco. The large towers always impress me.

This picture features a vibrant green fruit stand stocked with contrasting oranges and pomegranates, alongside an older-style motorcycle. These fruit stands are common throughout Marrakech, showcasing sweet fruits and bright colors. Unfortunately, I have not yet had the opportunity to try the fruits. The motorcycle represents how people navigate Marrakech and the medinas.

This picture is in the garden of the palace, with beautiful orange and grapefruit trees. All the artwork (all handcrafted) is very impressive and surrounds the garden.

This is a picture down one of the alleys in the souks. They are crowded and unpredictable. The motorbikes zoom through these alleys like crazy. I also really like the Moroccan flags in this one.

Today, we took a taxi back to the hotel after visiting the Medina. We haggled and negotiated the fare down from 90 MAD to 50 MAD. Driving in Morocco is nothing like I’ve ever experienced before; it’s chaotic and scary. However, we made it back safely.
