Hyundai Ulsan

Today we woke up bright and early as usual and traveled by charter bus to Ulsan to see the Hyundai car factory. I also couldn’t take photos of the factory, but I could take some of the museum we went to before. In the museum, we learned about the start-up of Hyundai and how it progressed to what it is now. The museum was very interesting, and we saw a few older cars, like the pony.

After the museum, we headed to the factory in the charter bus, where we learned about the workers’ lifestyle. Surprisingly, there are convenience stores, shopping places, a cafeteria, and other places alongside the factories in the Ulsan plant.

As I said before, I couldn’t take any photos of the factory, but I saw the workers, the conveyor belts, and the robot smart systems. It was crazy to see cars at different times of being manufactured. We saw the cars just starting out (like just the frame), the cars partially developed, and the finished product. After the factory, we were driving to the shipping port, where we saw large cargo ships carrying cars to other countries or other parts of Korea. This company visit was amazing to see, and I am glad I got to go.

After the Hyundai factory visit, we got back to the hotel, then, along with a few people from my group, we headed to Seoul Tower.

First off, the Seoul tower was expensive. You’re telling me I have to pay 27000 won to just go up. And when you’re up there is no outside balcony. I got better pictures from the hill outside. Though I did get a nice photo with my homies. Though this was an experience I enjoyed. It was amazing to see Seoul at the top of the tower. You can see the city from all directions, and it was so beautiful at night.
