The End

on

Today, I woke up and had my last hotel breakfast of the trip. Other than taking the time to pack everything up, because I hadn’t started till this morning, I really didn’t do much. Once I packed everything up, I went down to check that my suitcase was light enough, which it was by far because I ended up traveling very light. I ended up going shopping one last time in Myeongdong because I hadn’t bought a shirt from Korea yet other than my jersey at the baseball game. Other than buying another pokemon keychain that I could have bought anywhere else, I bought a Hard Rock Seoul shirt from a street vendor. I usually try to buy a hard rock shirt from other cities when I go to them but I learned that the hard rock cafe in Seoul closed in 2018, so thats why I couldn’t find one on this trip.

Finally, we headed to Incheon Airport and had a surprisingly short wait for our flight to Atlanta. They had some group dancing to Kpop music in the airport which was pretty cool and I don’t remember much of this airport because we left it so soon after arriving at the beginning of the trip. The flight from Seoul to Atlanta was only slightly worse than the first time, probably because I slept for a grand total of about one hour. At the Atlanta airport, we had slightly more time and a lot of the group went to a food court for dinner. After we ate, we sat and talked for a while but everyone on the flight to Philidelphia was in a different terminal than the flight to Pittsburgh, so most of us parted ways at this point. The flight from Atlanta to Pittsburgh went by very quickly, and before I knew it I was back home. Overall, I had a great time on this trip and am so grateful for every experience and opportunity I was givien. Most importantly, I’m grateful to have gone on this trip with an amazing group of people and feel so blessed to have made some great new friends.
