It is a big travel day. We are going back to Seoul by train. But first we have to visit Hyundai! My first ever car was a 2014 Hyundai Elantra. Her name was Venessa. She had so much character. I eventually totaled her among other things, but nothing is like your first car as she lives on in my memories forever.
Right before the museum we had this packed lunch. I regret not taking any pictures because it looked so good. There were two really good types of meat and, my favorite, quail eggs. I did not know Korea was so big on quail eggs.
The Hyundai museum was first. I am not big on museums or cars, but I got a beautiful picture of the first ever version of my baby, Venessa.

She is so beautiful. Isn’t she?! After the museum we went to an assembly line of Hyundai cars. It was incredibly cool and informative. Everything is moving at all times and it is efficient. They make multiple types of cars on one line. They keep a cart with each car so that it has the right parts. I wonder what the process looks like when a new car is being added to the assembly line. I wonder how costly it is and what all has to change with the machinery. If you looked up there was a million more things going on with doors being transported or other car parts. They make so many cars a day and there are so many factories like that it is unfathomable. I suppose near everyone gets a car, so the demand makes sense for the efficiency.
There was a bit of time before we had to get onto the train, so we got Korean doughnuts. A very nice Korean lady who spoke English was there. She told me that water is always free in Korean places. This is true in America too, but some countries do not work this was, so it was good to know. The signs were in English and a little funny. I took a picture of one.

We were finally back in Seoul with only 2 nights left here. We went back into the markets to try some of the food stands. I have always wanted to try the fruit sticks in sugar. It was the best thing in the world. I wanted another, but we ran out of time. I got these really cute Studio Ghibli nails. I will try them right when I get home!! We went back into the subway markets, but it was late and most of them were closed. Though I am having so much fun in Korea, I am exhausted and cannot wait to sleep in my own bed again.
