This Friday marked one week since I left my home to begin the journey. Looking back, we have already done an inane amount of stuff, and it has only been one week.

Coming off of Neuschwanstein the previous day, this Friday was a super chill day. We had a Bloomberg talk we had to attend at 1:00, but other than that we were free.

We made good use of the day by first going to a museum on the main drag. I took a lot of good photos here and it felt good to explore something that wasn’t on the main itinerary for the trip. There was a specific part at the end of the museum, it was this huge ballroom that had some really cool architecture, it honestly reminded me of a couple rooms we saw the day before at Neuschwanstein.

Following this expedition, we took the streetcar over to the university and trekked over to the classroom. This is where we hopped on a call with Will Wikes, a journalist for Bloomberg. We talked about a bunch of things, specifically things currently going on in the automotive industry and the external threats that China poses on the European automotive industry. This specific talk served me really well when I was researching for my final presentation. He brought up many good points and talked about our companies in specific which was super useful.

Overall, this was just a chill day so not much went on, I still made the most of it and enjoyed every minute. It was nice to have a calmer mindset after being constantly on the move since arriving in Augsburg.
