Hey everyone, thank you for taking the time to visit my blog! I’m honored and thankful to have been chosen as a participant of this amazing study abroad program taking place in Vietnam this summer. I will be traveling 30 hours to spend almost 2 weeks in Ho Chi Minh City from May 7th to May 20th as a part of Pitt’s Plus 3 study abroad program. Keep track of my daily adventures by keeping up to date with my blog while I’m gone.
I am entering my sophomore year as an Industrial Engineering major at the University of Pittsburgh’s Swanson School of Engineering. I was born and raised 20 minutes north of Pittsburgh/ Oakland in the North Hills area, while attending the one and only North Hills High School. Growing up so close to the city and the University, I developed a love for everything this place has to offer and therefore I felt drawn to Pitt. This University is preparing me to succeed in all of my goals in life. One of those major goals is to travel the world as much as I can during my time on this earth, and so Vietnam is a perfect way to get my foot in the door of international travel. This 14 day experience consisting of language classes, company tours, site visits and over 60 total hours of travel is going to be one of the most amazing experiences of my life.
Thank you for reading my first ever blog post, and stay tuned for more exciting info to come!!
