Hello! My name is Owen Kelly and I will be heading off to Germany in a few weeks on the Plus 3 trip. I’m in the College of Business Administration studying Accounting. I am currently wrapping up my freshman year here at Pitt and I’m very excited to be moving forward in my education. My hometown is Lansdale, PA, which is about an hour outside of Philadelphia. I am a huge Philadelphia sports fan and one of my favorite things to do is go to either a Sixers or Eagles game. I chose to go on the Germany trip because I took German for 3 years in high school so I have always been interested in German culture.  I am very excited to try all the authentic German food and to visit all the historic landmarks that Germany has to offer. The Plus 3 program seemed to be the right fit for me because 2 weeks is the appropriate length trip and I am very excited to visit BMW and some of the companies involved in their supply chain. I’ve always been interested in cars so visiting BMW will be one of the coolest things I’ll ever do. I cannot wait to go on this trip and I am blessed to have this opportunity!
