768, the number of steps I had to climb to get this view.
I am not going to lie, I did not think I was going to make it. Narrow and spiral stairs are two things that I do not like. However, I was pleasantly surprised that it was not that bad. I felt very accomplished afterwards as well. The view made it worthwhile as well.
After our hike, we went on a tour of the city. All I can say is that it is very interesting from the tallest church tower to the most tilted hotel. It was a very cute and old city with an interesting history. Going into the church after climbing to the top was probably the most interesting because it actually had modern stain glass windows unlike the other churches we visited on the trip.
Our tour ended at a restaurant for lunch. We had great crepes, and of course since we were not paying we all got dessert pancakes as well. They were delicious and really filling. Our free time afterward consisted of us sitting on a bench because we were too full to move. It was nice though to find a bench near the river to relax on and enjoy the sun.
That night we had our goodbye dinner with the German students. It was a nice way to wrap up the trip, but it was very sad. I will definitely miss everyone that I met on the trip.
