Presenting A New Day

Today we had our presentations. My group wanted to make sure everything was perfect, so we met up in the morning to practice. The German students are very good at presenting especially when it is not in their first language. After we ran through it a couple of times, we then went to Mensa for lunch. I will always be amazed by how many options they have in one cafeteria; I am not looking forward to going back to the horrible food of Market. One of my favorite things about this trip was getting to know the German students better. It is interesting to hear their opinions on things and teach them about things like the Amish. Although today was mostly finishing up the project and practicing it was fun because it allowed us to bond more.

The presentations themselves were long but very informative. I appreciated learning about companies that I have never heard of before; I like knowing about the automotive industry since I did not before this trip. We then went back to the hotel to change, but then returned to campus to have dinner at Mr. Onion. I swear all the food in Germany is amazing, but they did give me salsa with my mozzarella sticks, which was weird.

It wasn’t as fun of a day, but I have hope that tomorrow will be better (if I don’t die from the steps).
