Day 14: See you later, Germany

It was a great two weeks, the only bad part is that now the rest of my summer is going to feel really lame in comparison. The trip was rewarding in many ways, from exploring a new culture to mastering (or at least attempting to master) international travel. I also became friends with people I may have never met before and ate food I may have never eaten before, for both of which I am thankful.

The professors and program directors were incredible in ensuring that the trip never had a dull moment. Everything went seamlessly, from the transportation to company visits, but not without the efforts of a few hard-working individuals. I would just like to take the time to thank Sonia, Anna, Dr. Feik, Brad, and all others who invested the time and effort to make the trip as incredible as it was.

The company visits were also fascinating to be able to see what goes on behind the scenes in the automobile industry, and I feel fortunate to have been given this opportunity. I would recommend this experience to anyone in a heartbeat, and would also go again in a heartbeat. Plus3 will continue to shape me, as the trip reaffirmed my pursuit of a Global Management major and my plans to study abroad again in the future. So to Germany, I’ll say a see you later, for I know that I will return, it’s just a matter of when.
