Hello!  My name is Joe McHugh and I am student Pitt’s College of Business Administration pursuing a Marketing degree with a certificate in Digital Media.  I am a former student-athlete, playing two years for Pitt’s baseball team as an outfielder.  More recently, I have acted and performed in a number of UPitt theatre productions and short films, and been a member of the Pitt Sales Academy.

I am thrilled to be a part of the Plus3 Transfer Ireland program, because as a senior graduating in December of 2018, this program is the last opportunity I will have to study abroad.  Furthermore, my family is very Irish and almost everyone in my family has taken a trip to the country at some point.  This will be my first time visiting the country and I couldn’t be more excited.  Being able to visit highly successful companies like Facebook, Airbnb, and PayPal while there is a unique opportunity in itself.  Seeing how these elite companies operate at the highest levels of productivity and innovation will give me incomparable insights going into my professional career.  I can’t wait to tell you about all the amazing things that await us in Ireland!
