Hello, all! I’m Lauren DeSantis, and I am a rising senior majoring in Business Information Systems and Marketing in Pitt Business! I am thrilled to be heading over to Ireland next week. After studying abroad in London for six weeks last summer, I didn’t think I’d have the chance to do it again; I was excited to hear about Plus3 Ireland and embraced the opportunity to continue my experience abroad!

My coursework, professional experience, and future career plans reveal my interest in innovation and technology. In addition to my majors, I am pursuing the Certificate Program in Business Analytics (CPBA) and Digital Media certificate through CGS. Different aspects of modern tech companies are widely discussed in different contexts throughout my course curriculum, and I look forward to applying what I’ve learned by observing these companies firsthand in an international context!

As for my professional experience and future plans, I completed an internship with ESPN in London in their Research and Analytics department last summer. This summer, following my return from Ireland, I will be interning with Deloitte Consulting as a Business Technology Analyst.

I am very much looking forward to this experience, as it will be my first time traveling to Ireland! Please check back for more photos and blog posts!
