Day 1: Ireland first Impressions

Today we arrived in Dublin! Everyone was so welcoming and there have been many things I’ve noticed so far. First, political stance is a large part of Irish culture. On almost every street corner there are signs about several political issues such as stances on abortion. Everyone is very involved here and so friendly! It’s been a great time meeting the locals and experiencing Dublin.

Today we met the locals and experienced the Griffith College. Its been very interesting observing the differences between the Irish culture and that of The United States. The Irish seem to be interested in building relationships before engaging in serious topics of discussion. Overall, the locals are very engaging in conversation and easy to get along with. So far I’ve been having a great time! I cant wait to experience more of the college and fill everyone in with my observations between Pitt and the Griffith College.
